Well, right now I'm tutu crazy. I started out trying to see if I could
make a simple, no-sew tutu for Kendall's birthday. I ended up buying the
materials and taking it down to Erin! She needed only a little
instruction and she really got it done quickly.
The pictures above show Kendall in her pink tutu for her birthday. Then I decided to make her a black/red one for Halloween - princess ladybug! By this time I'd practiced a bit more and it turned out great! Check out the first pictures:
So then I posted the pictures. Guess what? People love tutus! So then I made one for my nieces and they also turned out beautiful. See the below pictures of Morgan and Meghan with their new tutus on!
Of course, I made Chef Joe put on a tutu as well!
Now for my last one, I used the scraps! The tutus I created for Kendall were too long. I had to cut off the ends of them. Using the scraps of those I made a mini-tutu - supposedly for our dog. However, the dog refused to wear it so it went onto Kendall's new stuffed penguin.
I think this little penguin looks pretty cute in a tutu, don't you?
Well, now I'm onto making more tutu's. I've got a few people waiting for them so I better get started on them. I am also going to start making tutu wreaths. I've never made one, but it's about the same process. I'll be sure and post pictures when I get one done.
